Lefferts Manor Bed and Breakfast...A Brooklyn Bed and Breakfast with Country Charm.

We are just three quick blocks away from the Prospect Park Subway Station! The main trains there are the Q and the B, which are both express trains to central locations in Manhattan. Just 15 minutes to Downtown, Chinatown and the Lower East Side! Less than 20 minutes to Soho, West Village and Union Square and less than 30 minutes to 34th Street, Herald Square and 42nd Street, Times Square.

Take the Q, B or S (Shuttle) Trains to Prospect Park Station. It is easiest if you Exit towards the front of the train (if you are coming from a Manhattan Q or B or the Shuttle Train), which will be the Lincoln Road exit. Walk down Lincoln Road to Flatbush and take a Right on Flatbush for three blocks to Rutland Road. We are 3/4 of the way down the first block on the right hand side.

Driving and Public Transport Directions from the three major airports are provided below. We always recommend calling Eastern Car Service at 866-499-7177 when you land and have them dispatch a car, which is much easier after a long trip. John F. Kennedy and La Guardia Airports are just 30 minutes away and the regulated fare is only $40.00 plus tip. They can usually have a car out to you by the time you get your luggage if you call them as soon as you land. Newark airport is about an hour and 15 minutes and costs $63. Please tip your driver!

From Kennedy AIrport
Take the Airtran to Howard Beach Station (cost $5). From Howard Beach take the Manhattan Bound A Train to Nostrand Avenue Station. At Nostrand, change to the Local C Train (still Manhattan Bound) and take it one stop, to Franklin Avenue. At Franklin Avenue go upstairs to the elevated platform and take the S (Shuttle) Train to Prospect Park Station.
From Laguardia Airport
From Parking Lot #3 take the M60 Bus bound for "West Side Bway- 106 St, via 125th St." Get off at Hoyt Avenue and 31st Street. Take the N train at Astoria Boulevard Subway Station to 57th Street - 7th Avenue Station in Manhattan. Transfer to the Brooklyn bound Q train (Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island terminus) and get off at Prospect Park Station.
From Newark Airport
Take the Airtrain to New Airport Railroad Station. Take the NJ Transit Train to New York Penn Station. From Penn Station you can walk one block crosstown to 34th Street Herald Square and take the Brooklyn bound Q train (Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island), or if you have too many bags, take the 1,2 or 3 train one stop going Uptown to 42nd Street, where you can walk through the connecting tunnel to the Brooklyn Bound Q train to Prospect Park Station in Brooklyn.
From Port AUthority Bus Terminal
Walk through the connecting tunnels to Times Square (42nd Street) where you can get the Brooklyn bound Q train to Prospect Park Station in Brooklyn.
From Pennsylvania Station (railways)
From Penn Station you can walk one block crosstown to 34th Street Herald Square and take the Brooklyn bound Q train (Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island), or if you have too many bags, take the 1,2 or 3 train one stop going Uptown to 42nd Street, where you can walk through the connecting tunnel to the Brooklyn Bound Q train to Prospect Park Station in Brooklyn.
From Grand Central Station (Railways)
Either take the S (shuttle) Train to Times Square (42nd Street) Station and take the Brooklyn bound Q train, or take the 4/5 Express or 6 Local (Lexington Avenue Lines) to Union Square Station (14th Street) and transfer to the Brooklyn bound Q train to Prospect Park Station in Brooklyn.
